President and Founder
As President and founder, Andy Wexler directs the long-term vision of Pali Mountain’s family of companies.
In 1990 Andy started Pali Day Camp in Pacific Palisades, California, a laidback beach neighborhood located in the city of Los Angeles, CA. After much success with the camp he went on to purchase the Pali Mountain property and began the Pali Adventures overnight summer camp program. This venture was just the beginning of his entrepreneurship as he set-off to launch several successful companies including Pali Retreat & Conference and the Pali Institute. His success has earned him much respect within the business community and he is often invited to be a guest speaker at industry events and major universities such as University of California, Los Angeles, University of Southern California and Pepperdine University.
Andy received a bachelor’s degree in both Economics and International Relations from UCLA. He also earned an MBA with a specialization in Interpersonal Relations at USC.
Director, Pali Adventures
Daniel “Hamms” Hammond has spent the past 8 summers at Pali Adventures. What originally began as a gap year for an Australian schoolteacher quickly became a passion and full-time career. A graduate from the University of Canberra, Daniel started his career at Pali as a Secret Agent counselor. Daniel went on to work in a number of different roles for both Pali Adventures and Pali Institute, including 3 summers as the Assistant Summer Camp Director, before stepping into the position of Camp Director in 2013. Daniel is the perfect individual to ensure that Pali’s commitment to excellence is maintained and strengthened as the camp enters a new era.
Recruiting the best possible staff from all over the world, developing our 21 specialty programs, searching for exciting new elective activities and ensuring that the needs of our campers and parents are being met and exceeded are all in a days work. Daniel is very active within the camp community and regularly attends a number of camping conferences and meetings to ensure that Pali stays ahead of the curve.

Seriously though, Jake feels blessed to work with a great group of guys and gals where a good dose of humor is key to a productive day of work. Jake oversees the daily operations of the camp facilities from building maintenance and housekeeping to state and county compliance.
Jake has ten years upper retail management experience and ten years in the residential construction trades, five of which were spent as a Licensed General Contractor.
Outside of work you will find Jake spending time with his wife of 20 years and 14 year old daughter. Jake also enjoys motorcycle riding, camping, hiking and getting lost in the mountains (don’t ask).
