Last updated: July 1, 2026. This Privacy Policy has been updated to reflect the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). To the extent any older statement below conflicts with the sections titled “Your California Privacy Rights” or “Cookies, Advertising & Analytics,” those updated sections control. California residents may opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information using our Your Privacy Choices page.
This privacy policy has been compiled to better serve those who are concerned with how their ‘Personally Identifiable Information’ (PII) is being used online. You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your browser settings. Since each browser is a little different, look at your browser’s Help Menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookies.
Third-party disclosure
We do not sell your personal information for money. However, like most businesses that advertise online, we use third-party advertising and analytics services (such as Google Ads and Google Analytics) that may involve the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information as those terms are broadly defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). California residents may opt out — see “Your California Privacy Rights” below or our Your Privacy Choices page.
Third-party links
Our website uses third-party services such as advertising, analytics, and customer-review tools, which may collect information about you as described in “Cookies, Advertising & Analytics” and “Your California Privacy Rights” below.
Google’s advertising requirements can be summed up by Google’s Advertising Principles. They are put in place to provide a positive experience for users.
We use Google AdSense Advertising on our website.
Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on our site. Google’s use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to our users based on previous visits to our site and other sites on the Internet. Users may opt-out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google Ad and Content Network privacy policy.
We have implemented the following:
- Remarketing with Google AdSense
- Google Display Network Impression Reporting
- Demographics and Interests Reporting
We, along with third-party vendors such as Google use first-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookies) and third-party cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) or other third-party identifiers together to compile data regarding user interactions with ad impressions and other ad service functions as they relate to our website.
Opting out: Users can set preferences for how Google advertises to you using the Google Ad Settings page. Alternatively, you can opt out by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative Opt Out page or by using the Google Analytics Opt Out Browser add on.
California Online Privacy Protection Act
CalOPPA is the first state law in the nation to require commercial websites and online services to post a privacy policy.
According to CalOPPA, we agree to the following:
Users can visit our site anonymously.
Once this privacy policy is created, we will add a link to it on our home page or as a minimum, on the first significant page after entering our website.
Our Privacy Policy link includes the word ‘Privacy’ and can easily be found on the page specified above.
You will be notified of any Privacy Policy changes on our Privacy Policy Page.
Can change your personal information:
- By emailing us
How does our site handle Do Not Track signals?
Because there is no industry-standard for “Do Not Track” (DNT) browser signals, we do not currently respond to them. However, we DO honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, as required by California law.
Does our site allow third-party behavioral tracking?
Yes — for visitors who have not opted out, we permit third-party advertising and analytics partners to collect information for behavioral advertising and measurement. California residents may opt out at any time via our Your Privacy Choices page or a Global Privacy Control-enabled browser.
COPPA (Children Online Privacy Protection Act)
When it comes to the collection of personal information from children under the age of 13 years old, the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) puts parents in control. The Federal Trade Commission, United States’ consumer protection agency, enforces the COPPA Rule, which spells out what operators of websites and online services must do to protect children’s privacy and safety online.
We do not specifically market to children under the age of 13 years old.
Fair Information Practices
The Fair Information Practices Principles form the backbone of privacy law in the United States and the concepts they include have played a significant role in the development of data protection laws around the globe.
In order to be in line with Fair Information Practices we will take the following responsive action, should a data breach occur:
We will notify you via email within 30 days.
We also agree to the Individual Redress Principle which requires that individuals have the right to legally pursue enforceable rights against data collectors and processors who fail to adhere to the law.
CAN SPAM Act
The CAN-SPAM Act is a law that sets the rules for commercial email, establishes requirements for commercial messages, gives recipients the right to have emails stopped from being sent to them, and spells out tough penalties for violations.
We collect your email address in order to:
- Send information, respond to inquiries, and/or other requests or questions.
- Send you additional information related to our programs and services.
To be in accordance with CAN-SPAM, we agree to the following:
- Not use false or misleading subjects or email addresses.
- Identify the message as an advertisement in some reasonable way.
- Include the physical address of our business or site headquarters.
- Monitor third-party email marketing services for compliance, if one is used.
- Honor opt-out/unsubscribe requests quickly.
- Allow users to unsubscribe by using the link at the bottom of each email.
If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, follow the instructions at the bottom of each email and we will promptly remove you from ALL correspondence.
Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
This section applies to California residents and supplements the rest of this Privacy Policy. It describes your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA/CPRA”), and how to exercise them.
Categories of Personal Information We Collect
In the past 12 months, we may have collected the following categories of personal information:
- Identifiers — name, email address, phone number, IP address, and online identifiers such as cookie IDs.
- Internet or network activity — browsing and interaction data, pages viewed, referring URLs, and information collected through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies.
- Commercial information — services inquired about or purchased.
- Geolocation data — approximate location derived from IP address.
- Inferences — preferences and characteristics derived from the above.
We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, government IDs, precise geolocation, or other “sensitive personal information,” and we do not use or disclose any such information beyond the purposes permitted by the CCPA.
Sources and Purposes
We collect this information directly from you (e.g., forms and inquiries), automatically from your device (e.g., cookies and analytics), and from advertising and analytics partners. We use it to provide and improve our services, respond to inquiries, perform analytics, deliver and measure advertising, prevent fraud, and comply with law.
How We “Sell” or “Share” Personal Information
Like most businesses that advertise online, we use third-party advertising and analytics services (such as Google Ads and Google Analytics). The use of these technologies may constitute a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (specifically Identifiers and Internet activity) as those terms are broadly defined under the CCPA/CPRA — even when no money changes hands. We “share” this information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
Your Rights
Subject to certain exceptions, California residents have the right to:
- Know / Access — request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
- Delete — request deletion of personal information we collected from you.
- Correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of sale/sharing — direct us not to sell or share your personal information.
- Limit use of sensitive personal information — to the extent we use any.
- Non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
How to Exercise Your Rights
- Visit our Your Privacy Choices page to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information; or
- Email us at [email protected] with the subject line “California Privacy Request.”
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid opt-out of sale/sharing. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we may require verification of the agent’s authority and your identity. We cannot respond to a request if we are unable to verify your identity. We will respond within the timeframes required by law (generally 45 days, extendable once).
Cookies, Advertising & Analytics
We use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies, including Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, and Google Ads (including remarketing and conversion measurement). These technologies help us understand site usage and deliver and measure advertising.
We use Google Consent Mode together with a consent banner so that, for California visitors, advertising and analytics technologies are not used until consent is provided, and so you can opt out at any time. You can also opt out through:
- Our Your Privacy Choices page;
- Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com);
- The Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org) and Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info); or
- Your browser’s cookie controls or a Global Privacy Control-enabled browser.
Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, after which we delete or de-identify it.
California “Shine the Light”
California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents to request information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, email [email protected].
